I want to share with you about a fantastic Global Resorts Network conference I attended last week in Las Vegas (February 18 – 21, 2010).
I arrived late Thursday night, the next day we all gather in the lobby of the Stratosphere and I met one of my business partners for the first time Mark Hoverson who organize this event and is our Global Resorts Network leader and later Debbie Turner another leader and business partner. We all boarded a bus for about 45 minute ride to Red Rock Canyon where we had plan a hike through the canyon. On the bus ride to Red Rock Canyon we started to networking with each other and share our online marketing skills. I found it was a bit out of comfort zone being almost 55 years old with a really bad knee, but I did it and I’m glad I did climb through the Red Rock Canyon, with Mark being our leader I think he wanted to take us out of that comfort zone and challenge us, looking back at that climb we’ll take that experience and move it to our business world and in this business we always have to challenge and educate ourselves. At the end of the hike Mark Hoverson made a toast with champagne. Watch the video below on the hike.
Later that night we attended a hobnobbing white glove event at the Trump Tower Penthouse on the 64th Floor. Special guess appearance by Global Resorts Network Founder and CEO Al Morals, also in attendance as well Todd Falcone and Jeffrey Combs.
Saturday morning the Global Resorts Network team attend a workshop hosted by Mark Hoverson, and start off with helping new members with the knowledge of obtaining their first sale. Keynote speaker Al Morales founder and CEO of Global Resorts Network told us how he started out owning a timeshare property and want to learn more about the timeshare business and work in the business and realize that there had to be a better way, watch the 2 part videos very interesting.
